Quick Vid! Prone Pressups for Lower Back Pain

The prone pressup is one of the best and easiest exercises to prevent and eliminate simple and uncomplicated low back pain.

By simple, it does not mean that the pain is not severe, but that it can be helped often with doing the right exercises and avoiding the right activities and positions. Try it and and as always, consult a physical therapist if you. This exercise can also prevent lower back pain.

Perform this ten times hourly or more often depending on how long the relief lasts. It is ok to be uncomfortable, and if it is painful, that is also ok (yellow light) as long as you can walk off the discomfort after the exercise. Make sure your back is relaxed and you straighten out your elbows all the way, and tilt your head backward at the end. It is acceptable if your hips come off the ground.
