You may scoff at the lowly bridge, but done well and NOT using your back, it can be a great hamstring exercise and serve as a anti-rotation exercise as well!
Here is PA Favorite Chris Johnson, PT demonstrating a great bridge progression.
My favorite cues are
- push your feet into the ground
- try to pull your feet backward toward your buttocks (when both are on the ground)
- drive your knees forward
These are great cues that really activate your hamstrings!
