One of the most common injuries in soccer players is a hamstring strain. One of the most common mechanisms of injury for a hamstring strain is kicking the soccer ball as the hip goes into flexion and the knee extends, elongating the hamstring. . This exercise utilizes FRC principles to mimic the kicking motion. It can be scaled to a low enough load for acute stage hamstring strains, and ramped up to help improve strength and mobility in later phases of rehabilitation. . Of course, there are about a thousand other things that would be included in a comprehensive hamstring strain rehabilitation program. This is simply one exercise that is specific for soccer players that I like to incorporate. _______________ #nicolesurdykaphysio #surdykapt #frc #kinstretch #mobility #hamstrings #soccer #football #futbol #physicaltherapy #physio #physiotherapy #fisioterapia #movement #exercise #fit #fitness #athlete #losangeles #marinadelrey #venice #santamonica #venicebeach #losangelesfitness #sports #training #performance
